Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Baked pie crust
    1 qt. Fresh strawberries
    3/4 c. Water
    3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
    1 c. Sugar
    1 tsp. Lemon juice
    1 c. Whipped cream or whipped topping
Preparation
    Line the pie crust with strawberries, reserving about 1 cup of berries for the glaze. Simmer 1 cup strawberries and the water for 3-4 minutes. Combine cornstarch and sugar, add to the cooked berries along with the lemon juice. Cook until this mixture is thick and clear. Pour over the strawberries in the pie crust and chill. Top with fresh cream or whipped topping. A great taste of Summer!
