Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow or white cake mix
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    1 large and 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    2 cans crushed pineapple, drained
    nuts
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on box.
    Cool.
    Make pudding as directed on box.
    Break cake into pieces and layer in punch bowl as follows:
    1/2 cake, 1/2 pudding, 1 can pineapple, 1 can pie filling, 1/2 Cool Whip and nuts.
    Repeat each layer once more. Keep refrigerated.
