Swapples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 apples
4 sweet potatoes
1/4 c. butter, divided
1/2 c. maple syrup
1 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Peel, core and slice apples.
Peel and cut sweet potatoes into 1/2-inch slices.
Saute apples and sweet potatoes in 2 tablespoons of butter.
Put in greased casserole dish.
Sprinkle with salt. Add chopped pecans.
Put remaining melted butter and maple syrup over it.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about an hour or until potatoes are soft.
Serves 16.
