Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 sticks margarine
    5 eggs
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    3 c. plain flour
    1 small bottle red food coloring
    1 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, sugar and margarine.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add cocoa, salt, vanilla and coloring.
    Add baking powder to flour and put 1/2 of flour mixture into batter.
    Add 1/2 cup of milk.
    Beat with mixer.
    Add other half of flour and milk. Mix well.
    Bake in large tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
