Low-Fat Applesauce Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. bran cereal
1 c. skim milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 1/2 Tbsp. melted margarine
1 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine cereal and milk.
Set aside.
In another bowl, combine egg, applesauce and melted margarine.
Stir into cereal mixture.
Add the dry ingredients.
Stir until just blended.
Spray muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
Fill 3/4 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Contains 2.5 g fat per muffin.
