Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. shortening
    3/4 c. grated cheese
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift first 3 ingredients into bowl.
    Cut in shortening until crumbly.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Roll out on floured surface; cut with biscuit cutter.
    Place in casserole.
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or longer or until browned.
    Yields 4 servings.
