Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix
    3 eggs
    1 stick butter or margarine
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 lb. box powdered sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine.
    Add cake mix and 1 egg, slightly beaten.
    Mix with a fork and press into greased 9 x 13-inch pan or baking dish.
    Mix 2 eggs, beaten, with cream cheese (room temperature) until creamy.
    Add powdered sugar and mix for 5 minutes.
    Pour over cake mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes. (I usually bake mine a few minutes longer.)
    Cool and cut into squares.
