Browned Sugar Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Put 1 cup sugar into heavy skillet.
    Heat over low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until golden brown.
    Have 1 cup sugar, milk and butter boiling when sugar is brown.
    Add browned sugar to boiling mixture.
    Cook to soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat. Beat until cooled and spreading consistency.
