Stuffed Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large onions
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/4 c. ground beef
    2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 egg yolk
    2 tsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cut off root ends of onions.
    Peel, rinse and cut off 1/2-inch slice from top of each.
    Put onions in boiling salted water to cover in a large saucepan. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until onions are slightly tender. Drain well and cool.
