Grapefruit Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

14 thin slices day-old French or Italians bread
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
1/3 c. raisins
2 c. milk
1 c. Florida grapefruit juice
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 c. plus 2 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar, divided
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 Florida grapefruit
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spread one side of each bread slice with butter.
In 1 1/2-quart shallow baking dish, arrange bread so slices overlap, buttered-side down and sprinkle with raisins.
In medium bowl, beat together milk, grapefruit juice, eggs, 1/3 cup brown sugar and cinnamon until combined.
Pour over bread slices and let stand 30 minutes.
Set baking dish in pan of hot water. Place in oven for 45 to 60 minutes or until tip of knife comes out clean.
