Microwave Irish Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. brown gravy mix
    1 c. water
    3 stalks celery
    3 medium carrots
    3 medium potatoes
Preparation
    Cut beef into 1-inch square cubes.
    Chop celery and carrots. Peel potatoes and cut into eighths.
    Place beef cubes in 3-quart microproof dish.
    Sprinkle salt on beef.
    Stir together gravy mix and water.
    Pour over meat.
    Cook on 70% power for 50 minutes, covered.
    Stir once while cooking.
    Add vegetables and mix to cover with gravy.
    Cook, covered, on 50% power for 40 to 50 minutes or until vegies and meat are tender.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
