Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    30 light caramels
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 pkg. pecans
Preparation
    Place cake mix, margarine and 1/2 cup milk into bowl and mix. Separate and place half into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Set half aside.
    Bake this at 350\u00b0 for 7 minutes and set aside.
    Place caramels and 1/2 cup milk into a pan and melt caramels.
    Pour over baked cake mix.
    Pour chocolate chips (do not melt) over caramels.
    Pour nuts over chips.
    Pour other half of cake mix over nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Let set 12 hours at room temperature.
