Never Fail Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkgs. yeast
    2 c. lukewarm water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    6 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water, add sugar, salt and 3 cups flour, beat until smooth.
    Add shortening and eggs and beat well again. Then stir in the rest of the flour or enough to make easily handled dough.
    Knead well and place in greased bowl.
    Cover and set in warm place.
    Let rise until dough is doubled in size (2 hours or longer).
    Shape into rolls and place in a well greased pan.
    Cover and let rise until light (20 - 30 minutes).
    Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
    Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen.
