Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium apples (Jonathans or Granny Smith)
1/4 c. sugar
cinnamon (sprinkle)
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation

Peel the apples and slice into buttered 9 x 9-inch casserole or baking dish.
Sprinkle with granulated sugar and cinnamon to suit your taste.
Combine butter, flour and brown sugar (crumbly, do not overwork).
Spread on top of apples.
Bake in moderate oven (375\u00b0) about 30 minutes or until apples are soft and crumbs are nice and brown.
Serve with cream, if desired.
Yields 6 servings.
