Golden Corn Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (1 lb. each) cans whole kernel corn, drained
    1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 slices bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled
    2 oz. process Swiss cheese, shredded (1 c.)
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Combine corn, milk, egg, onion, salt, pepper and 3/4 cup of the cheese.
    Turn into loaf dish (5 x 9-inch).
    Toss bread crumbs with the melted butter and remaining 1/4 cup of cheese.
    Sprinkle over corn mixture.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Garnish with green pepper rings and pimentos, if desired.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
