Cream Cheese Danish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls (8 in each)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 egg, separated
    cinnamon-sugar mixture
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    Unroll 1 package of crescent rolls and spread in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
