Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1 can small English peas, drained
    1/2 to 3/4 c. grated cheese
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. instant mashed potatoes
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    paprika
Preparation
    Combine the first 6 ingredients and press into a 9-inch pie plate (bottom and sides). Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes. Pour off fat. Pour English peas into pie shell. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Boil 1 cup water and add remainder of ingredients (except paprika). Mix thoroughly and cover pie with this potato mixture. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake again for 10 to 15 minutes until potatoes are golden brown.
