Peach Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 1/2 c. fresh peach slices
    2/3 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    3 tsp. margarine
    1/3 c. margarine
Preparation
    Melt margarine in an 8 or 9-inch ovenproof skillet or layer pan.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar.
    Arrange fruit in skillet.
    Cream 1/3 cup margarine and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla.
    Add combined dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
    Carefully pour batter over fruit.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Immediately invert onto serving platter.
