Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    2 1/2 c. thinly sliced Vidalia onions
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. cheese
Preparation
    Combine cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup melted margarine; line an 8-inch pie pan.
    Saute onions in 2 tablespoons margarine until tender, but not brown.
    Put in pie shell.
    Mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
    Pour over onions.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
