Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 oz. lemon jello
    8 oz. cottage cheese
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix pineapple and sugar.
    Bring to boil and cook a few minutes.
    Add jello and stir and cool. Blend cottage cheese in blender and add it and Cool Whip to cooled jello. Refrigerate until firm.
