Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
Preparation
    Blend shortening and sugar.
    Add molasses and egg; beat well. Mix flour and spices.
    Roll in 1-inch balls and dip top side in sugar.
    Do not pat down.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
