Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add all dry ingredients. Alternate with sour cream, mixing well after each addition. Chill several hours or overnight.
    On lightly floured board, roll out dough to 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut out.
    Place on greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg.
    Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
