Oven Bake French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 (1/2-inch thick) slices French bread (about half 1-lb. loaf)
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    6 eggs
    2 c. half and half
    1/2 c. orange-flavored liqueur
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    sifted confectioners sugar or Orange Syrup to serve
Preparation
    Arrange bread slices in a single layer, with sides touching, in a greased jelly roll pan.
    Sprinkle raisins and pecans over bread.
    In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, half and half, liqueur, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
    Pour egg mixture over bread.
    Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
