Cornmeal Mush - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 c. water, divided
2 c. corn meal
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Bring to a boil 5 cups water and salt. Combine corn meal and 2 cups cold water. Stir into boiling water. Cook for 30 minutes on low heat, stirring frequently. Serve hot with milk and sugar or pour into loaf pan to cool and set.
Slice, dust with flour, if desired, and fry in well-greased skillet.
