Easy Lasagne - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) carton lasagne noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 to 3/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
16 oz. cottage cheese (small curd)
3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Brown beef and drain fat. Add sauce, water, salt and sugar. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. In 13 3/4 x 8 1/2-inch casserole, layer 1/3 of sauce, 1/2 of uncooked noodles, 1 cup cottage cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan and 1 cup Mozzarella cheese. Repeat, ending with Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Cover with foil. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes. Remove foil and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
