Ice Cream Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 oz.) pkg. refrigerated prepared chocolate chip cookie dough, frozen
    2 1/2 c. ice cream (such as strawberry or fudge swirl)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut frozen cookie dough into 16 slices. Place cookie dough slices on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
    Let stand 1 minute.
    Remove cookies to wire racks.
    Cool completely.
    Spread 1/3 cup ice cream onto 8 cookies. Top with remaining cookies.
    Freeze sandwiches until ready to serve.
    Makes 8 servings.
