Fehn'S Macaroon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. crushed saltine crackers
    1 c. chopped nuts
    8 dates, finely chopped
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    Whipped cream for topping when serving
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff, gradually adding sugar. Blend in saltines, nuts, dates, flavoring and baking soda.
    Pour into a buttered 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 20 minutes.
    Cool.
    Serve with whipped cream as a topping.
