Orange Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. strained orange juice
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 whole eggs
    1/3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. grated orange rind
Preparation
    Mix sifted flour, sugar, shortening, salt and orange juice. Beat 2 minutes.
    Stir in baking powder.
    Add eggs, water and orange rind.
    Mix well.
    Pour into 2 nine-inch layer cake pans which have been rubbed with shortening.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
