Tortilla Soup(4 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 corn tortillas
    oil for frying
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 can chopped green chilies
    4 c. chicken broth
    1 c. shredded cooked chicken
    salt
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. lime juice
    4 large lime slices
Preparation
    Cut tortillas in 2 x 1/2-inch strips.
    Fry tortillas in a small amount of oil until brown and crisp.
    Drain on paper towels. Heat 2 teaspoons vegetable oil.
    Add onion; saute until translucent.
    Add green chilies, broth, chicken, salt to taste and tomatoes.
    Cover; simmer for 20 minutes.
    Stir in lime juice.
    To serve, pour into soup bowls and add tortilla strips.
    Float a lime slice in the center of each bowl.
