Fresh Broccoli Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
1 bunch fresh broccoli, chopped (about 4 c.)
3 c. milk
1 c. light cream
2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1 c. chopped, cooked ham
1/4 c. butter or margarine
3/4 tsp. salt to taste
Preparation

Pour chicken broth into large saucepan.
Add broccoli.
Bring to boil; cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes or until tender.
Add milk, cream, Swiss cheese, ham, butter or margarine and salt. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Serve warm.
Makes 2 1/2 quarts.
