Sour Cream Pound Cake And Orange Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cream together soft butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs; add vanilla.
    Beat in dry ingredients alternately with the sour cream. Beat until smooth.
    Pour into a 10-inch angel food pan which has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 at end of 1 hour.
    Do not remove from pan until cold. Frost with Orange Buttercream Frosting.
    Total baking time:
    1 1/2 hours.
