Carne Guisada - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 lb. lean stew meat
2 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 oz. chili powder
1/2 oz. pkg. comino
5 garlic cloves, mashed
2 chopped onions
2 chopped bell peppers
1 (14.5 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. mole poblano
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. peanut butter
salt
pepper
Preparation

Salt and pepper meat.
Melt shortening, then slowly brown the meat.
Add chili powder, comino and garlic.
Cook a while longer. Add onions, peppers and tomatoes.
After the meat has cooked a while, add the mole poblano and brown sugar.
If the gravy needs to be thickened, add flour and water.
Cook until flavors are blended, then stir in peanut butter.
