Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry jello
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 large pkg. frozen strawberries
    3 sliced bananas
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Stir in frozen strawberries until berries break apart.
    Add sliced bananas and chopped pecans. Pour 1/2 of the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Set in refrigerator until firm.
    Next, spread sour cream over first mixture and pour remaining 1/2 of jello on top.
    Place in refrigerator to jell entire mixture.
