Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. salad oil
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 well beaten eggs
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
    3 c. peeled and chopped apples
    1 1/2 to 2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine in a mixing bowl the sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs, lemon juice and salt; beat well.
    Mix flour and soda; add to the first mixture and beat well.
    Stir in the apples and nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 about 1 hour in a tube pan which has been buttered and floured.
