Potato Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. mashed potatoes
2 stalks celery, diced
1 large onion, diced
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. water
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 stick margarine or butter
3 tsp. flour
2 c. milk or 1/2 milk and 1/2 cream
salt to taste
Preparation

Combine the first 5 ingredients.
Stir and simmer until celery and onion are cooked.
In a small pan, melt margarine or butter. Add flour; stir to remove lumps.
Add milk to make a smooth sauce. Add cheese; heat gently until thickened, stirring constantly. Add potato mixture.
