Italian Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans, washed and snapped in half
    1 large, fresh tomato, sliced thin
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    2 medium potatoes, cut in quarters
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. water
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, saute onion in oil until slightly brown. Add beans, salt, pepper and water.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Remove cover and add sliced tomato and mix well.
    Lay potatoes on top.
    Cover and cook over low heat until beans and potatoes are cooked, approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
    More water can be added if necessary.
