Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped corn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Place popped corn in large brown grocery bag; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients, except baking soda, in 1 1/2-quart glass dish.
    Microwave on High until mixture boils; stir. Microwave for 2 minutes on High, stirring after each minute. Remove from microwave; stir in soda.
    Pour over corn in bag. Close bag; shake well.
    Microwave in bag for 1 1/2 minutes on High; shake well.
    Cook another 1 1/2 minutes.
    Pour onto countertop or table to cool.
    Store in airtight container.
    Makes 4 quarts.
