Ingredients

1 Tbsp. oil
2 green onions, diced
1 c. freshly shredded lettuce
1 tsp. flour
3 Tbsp. water or chicken broth
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
freshly ground black pepper
Preparation

In a saucepan, cook the green onions and lettuce in oil over low heat for 5 minutes. Combine flour with water or broth. Add to lettuce mixture and stir until thickened.
Put in the cooked peas, sliced water chestnuts and seasonings.
Heat through and serve.
