Black-Eyed Pea Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 onion, chopped
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
3/4 c. cut corn, drained
1 lb. browned sausage
1 c. cooked black-eyed peas
1/2 c. grated Cheddar
Preparation

Mix first 11 ingredients together in a large bowl.
Add last the black-eyed peas and grated Cheddar.
Pour into a well-greased hot #8 large iron skillet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Store leftovers in refrigerator.
Great reheated in microwave.
