Garden Wild Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. wild rice, uncooked
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. chicken-flavored bouillon granules
    vegetable cooking spray
    1 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. thinly sliced celery
    1 c. thinly sliced mushrooms
    3/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. frozen English peas, thawed
    1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Rinse wild rice in 3 changes of hot water.
    Drain.
    Combine rice, 2 1/2 cups water and bouillon granules in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil.
    Cover and reduce heat.
    Simmer 50 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
    Drain and set aside.
