Julia'S Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark molasses, heated
    1/3 c. Crisco
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Heat molasses, then cool.
    Add Crisco, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, soda and salt.
    Add well beaten egg.
    Then beat in flour and baking powder.
    Put in refrigerator for 1 hour.
    Roll thin and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
