Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda (in milk)
3 Tbsp. white Karo
butter (size of egg)
1 c. nut meats
Preparation

Mix sugar, buttermilk, soda dissolved in milk, Karo and butter until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Beat until creamy. Add nuts. Drop from spoon when begins to harden.
