Sharron'S Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/3 c. vinegar
    dash of pepper
    1 pkg. macaroni twists
    1 purple onion, in rings
    2 medium cucumbers, diced
    1 small can peas
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    2 carrots, shredded
    grated cheese (optional)
Preparation
    In blender, mix first 7 ingredients for dressing.
    Cook macaroni; drain and cool.
    Add onion rings, cucumbers, celery, carrots and peas.
    Pour dressing over all and let marinate overnight.
    Sprinkle grated cheese over top just before serving.
