Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran, soaked in 2 c. boiling water
1 c. shortening
4 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. white flour
1 tsp. salt
5 tsp. baking soda
2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
raisins
Preparation

Cream shortening, eggs and sugar; add buttermilk and mix well. Add dry ingredients and 100% Bran. Then add soaked All-Bran and raisins. Place in muffin tins and bake at 400\u00b0 for 20-25 minutes. Bake as many as you like; store remaining batter in a covered jar in refrigerator. Will keep for 1 month.
