Kumquat Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. kumquats, sliced
6 cloves
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. nuts
3/4 c. orange liqueur
Preparation

Wash, chop or slice fruit; removing seeds.
Put fruit into water.
Add spice and sugar.
Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Bring mixture to boil and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and add nuts and liqueur.
