Homestyle Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 (1 lb.) cans vegetarian beans with tomato sauce
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    In large skillet, melt butter.
    Saute onions and garlic over low heat until tender.
    Add beef.
    Cook until meat is browned. Drain off excess fat; stir in remaining ingredients.
    Transfer to 2 1/2-quart casserole dish or bean pot.
    Bake about 45 minutes (in preheated oven at 350\u00b0) or until hot and bubbly.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Serves 8 to 10 people.
