Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium to large head cabbage
    1 medium onion, sliced
    about 1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 stick margarine
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese (reserve 1/4 c. for topping)
Preparation
    Cut cabbage into eighths.
    Add onion, salt and water.
    Cook together until tender; drain.
    Add other ingredients and put in large baking dish.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
    You may substitute 1 can Cheddar cheese soup and sprinkle some cheese on top.
