No Aging Candied Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pitted dates
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. candied cherries
    2 c. unsifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 lb. pecan halves or pieces
    white Karo syrup
Preparation
    Set oven at 275\u00b0.
    Cut and mix fruit in large bowl.
    Mix dry ingredients in small bowl.
    Add dry ingredients to cut fruit and stir until fruit is well covered.
