Fried Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    tomatoes (green or red)
    flour, seasoned with some salt and sugar
    butter or bacon fat (bacon fat is better)
    milk
    seasoning as needed
Preparation
    Core and slice tomatoes (they can be either green or red). Dip the slices in flour, to which some salt and sugar have been added.
    Brown slices on both sides in butter or bacon fat (bacon fat is better) until crisp.
    Turn just once.
    When brown on both sides, put the slices in a casserole in a warm oven.
