Lynda'S Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 cubed steaks
    1 large yellow onion, cut into strips (or 2 small)
    1 pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 (26 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    2 c. water
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 Tbsp. butter
    garlic powder
    black pepper
    dash of salt (optional)
Preparation
    In a shallow dish, beat eggs.
    Set aside.
    In another shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, black pepper and salt to your liking.
    Set aside.
    In a large pan, cook 2 Tbsp. olive oil, 1 Tbsp. butter, onions and mushrooms on medium heat.
    Remove from pan and set aside.
    Using the same large pan, add remaining olive oil and butter and set on medium-low heat.
    Dip cubed steaks into eggs and then dredge through flour mixture.
    Place into pan and sear both sides.
    Add extra olive oil if pan becomes dry.
